This is the chance to take your BS in Engineering or Science, preferably electrical or mechanical and contribute to the team creating the industries leading RFID solutions.

As a Product Development Engineer, you will have the following skills;

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in product design and development. Ideally in hospital equipment or medical devices
  • A blend of excellent mechanical engineering skills and solid electrical engineering knowledge
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as well as contribute as part of a team
  • Be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Project management experience is a definite plus

Product Development Engineer, Electro/Mechanical

Quality Control Supervisor - Innovative RFID Device Leader!Number of Openings: 1

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MEPS Real-time, Inc is looking for an outstanding individual to direct the day to day activities of the Quality department's Q.C. Inspectors as well as use their expertise to evaluate electro-mechanical assembly and finished goods characteristics to established requirements.

The qualified individual will likely have a minimum of five to eight years related work experience (equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable) in a production environment for electro-mechanical products with a minimum of three to five years of experience as a Production Trainer or Quality Control Inspector. Experience performing inspection or test activities in a medical device or other regulated industry environment would be a big plus as well as experience working in the RFID industry. To help ensure success in the leadership portion of this role, a minimum of two-three years’ experience directing the day-to-day activities of others in a production or repair environment is required.

This is the chance to take your American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification or specialized certificate from a college or university (including schools of the US Armed Forces) and contribute to the team creating the industries leading RFID solutions.

  • Provide leadership to the Quality Control Inspectors by providing coaching and supervision in all quality program activities.
  • Ensure that the day-to-day workload for the Receiving Inspection as well as Final Test functions is managed in a timely manner with the goal of supporting Production and customer commitments
  • Trouble-shoot failures and other non-conformances identified during Final Test.
  • Attend weekly Quality-Production Issues meetings.
  • Perform cable and wiring harness inspection to ensure proper connector termination (solder pot, crimp, pin-out, stress-relief, wrap, etc.).
  • Ensure wiring routing conforms to wiring diagrams.
  • Conduct cosmetic inspection of in-process and final assembles so that supplier blemishes as well as inadvertent damage from assembly is identified and corrected before release.
  • Inspect PCBA assembly as well as rework.
  • Maintain test equipment and stations so that the ability to test or otherwise evaluate is available at all times.
  • Aid in the execution of audits from customers, regulatory agencies, and certification bodies when needed.
  • Be responsible for the control of Q.C. measurement and test equipment. This includes ensuring proper calibration and maintenance schedules are met.
  • Initiate Non-Conforming Material Reports. This includes the proper identification of discrepant products and materials as well as ensuring their proper segregation and ultimate disposition.
  • Ensure that training to in-house procedures and work inspections, as well as the standards referenced in those documents, is kept current for himself as well as the Q.C. Inspectors.
  • Support the Receiving Quality Control Inspector as well as Q.C. Final Test Inspector by performing needed inspection and tests.
  • Keeps abreast of changes in metrology and inspection methods in industry.
  • Ensure that the applicable available tools and methods are used during Q.C. inspections.
  • Work independently, or with MEPS Engineers, to revise and create inspection and test procedures.
  • Ensure that the CTC Final Test spreadsheet and other inspection status boards (electronic or otherwise) are kept current.
  • Of course, keep abreast of changes in the ASQ Quality Engineering body of knowledge.

In order to be successful in the above activities, you should have the following skills and experiences;

  • Team Lead skills to provide direction and coaching for Quality Control Inspectors.
  • Engineering level math as well basic production statistics; be able to apply industry sampling plans to routine inspection and test activities as well be able to apply indices to testing outcomes to establish inspection, test, and production acceptance criteria as well as support study, qualification, and validation acceptance criteria.
  • Measurement systems (including conversions between English and SI units of measurement)
  • Metrology (including use of and design of variable and go-no-go gauges, various measurement scales, selection and handling of various gauges, determination of needed precision, determination of appropriate calibration methods)
  • Use of mechanical tools such as torque or other wrenches
  • Problem solving skills and tools
  • Supervisory and planning knowledge

This is a unique job for those who are currently certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and who like to travel. This position provides extensive, up to 75%, travel opportunities.

SUMMARY
The Technical Support Specialist will perform duties as assigned by the Director of Implementation and Client Services in support of the client services team; This includes coordination of support for MEPS products, fielding support calls, maintaining documentation for installation and support, managing updates for installed devices in the field including Windows Critical updates, per-update deployment testing to assure minimal impact and other support tasks as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Monitors the support tool.
Stage, test and deploy software and system critical upgrades.
Assist in preparing units for shipment.
Phone support as needed.
Attends all meetings and training as required of the position.
Data entry.
Assists with product validations.
Assists with creating forms/document templates as requested.

REQUIREMENTS:
